affichemopoumoFrom the preparation …

The authors of these stories, Josiane, Aurore, Jasmine, Marie, Séverine, Wendy, Maeva and Michel are all inhabitants of the Zac and the Port city. They offered us their word, sequences of their lives.
For several months (since October 2009) thanks to a joint activity: the practice of theater and puppetry, two or three times a week, have forged ties, building confidence and releasing the word.
Progressively it was obvious both for them and for us that they also had to pass from the word to the act and play this transposition.
(Presentation June 18, 2010 at the Espace Roussin Theater)

… at birth

The professional team of the collective took over in October 2010, a year after the start of the collection of testimonies.
The puppeteers organized their reflection and their play by writing a singular dramaturgy where the manipulating and manipulated bodies are inscribed as metaphors by drawing the story of these women encountered.

Sonata for puppets, masks and body puppeteers in movements, where the rhythm is verb and the gesture grammar.
“MO POU MO” is the metaphorical syntax of a transposed encounter.

On an original musical composition Roz mé, Lucette, Therese, Léon and the children, tell us their story, fragments of lives, shared words (Lives of women)

Convictions

The strength of the PUPPET is in its capacity to represent the World and its ability to give it to see otherwise. The puppeteers organize their reflection and play by writing a singular dramaturgy where the manipulating and manipulated bodies are inscribed as metaphors by drawing the story of these women encountered. • All research workshops are linked to the artistic orientations of the creation: MO POU MO, in continuity, transposition of the collected testimonies. They meet the needs of a working method.
